This Small Treasure began as a study in how to show distance in a landscape painting with multiple hills. By the end of my painting process, it had become a story about the beautiful barn in the foreground. The painting is on a .25" thick watercolor panel, sealed with UV archival varnish with a matte finish. The look of natural watercolor without the need for a mat or glass. Just pop into a frame. Signed on front and back. Back includes painting details with title, artist full name, painting surface and ID#, etc.
