Artist's Note:
One of several on a walking tour, this home was included in a local garden show. It's appearance is a bit misleading. While it was in a solidly urban area it could have easily been comfortable in a rural setting. The backyard garden was beautiful (and included a few chickens!) but it was the walk up to the front porch that caught my eye and I knew I had to paint it.
